Grandpa Jerr Ushered to Work in Style

Grandpa Jerr has been getting quite the royal treatment lately on his walks to the subway en route to his job at Carlson Wagonlit. He's been chaperoned by Sir Nathaniel in his carriage almost daily as long as the weather cooperates. Our little 14-month-old can spot his Grandpa Jerr at least a block away and starts to shriek and wave his arms madly (quite undignified behavior for a royal.) Grandpa Jerr and mommy have pledged to savour these walks because before long, our little man may be too embarrassed to cruise with us fogies!

Breakfast at St. James'

Nate and mommy have been enjoying regular breakfast dates at St. James Cathedral park down the street from 30 Church. Seeing as Nate has a fountain fetish and mommy has a chocolate croissant fetish, both are happy with the arrangement. Yesterday our little runner got distracted by the grumpy old man on the bench and took a wrong turn into the flowerbed. Undeterred, he continued to take the park by storm until mommy had to bring him home kicking and screaming for nap time. If this tradition continues, mommy will have to up the ante on the elliptical!

Nate Returns from Wild Week in the Sound

Proving he's just as much a country boy as he is a city slicker, our blue-eyed boy eased right into the quiet life last week. No sooner had he landed in the Sound at his Gammy and Grandpa's that he tore off his clothes, slipped into his Speedo and kicked back on his favourite floatation device. Never one to shy away from a good adventure, Nathaniel then spent much of the week tearing up the mean streets of Owen Sound with his Gammy in his new Wee Rider bicycle seat. Apart from getting caught out in a fierce Monsoon and another minor mishap with his mother at the helm, life was good on the 2-wheeler. Nate caught up with plenty of friends (Mathis, Amelie, Alaida, Sophia, Sage and Ava) and family (Great-Grandma Glenora, Great-Uncle Bob, Great-Auntie Gwynda) on his week-long getaway. Other highlights included staying up until 11 p.m. at Jim & Gabrielle's, feeding the exotic animals at Storybook Park, checking out the hot chicks at Sauble Beach and officially becoming an independent walking machine!
